Thank you CFUW North Vancouver , your work in the community makes a difference.
As part of our Christmas Celebrations in December, CFUW North Vancouver ‘s Program Committee Chair , Wendy Mickleson organized a campaign at Christmas to donate suitable gifts for the Hollyburn Family Services Society and the Youth Safe House. We donated 28 pairs of pajamas, 50 pairs of socks, 14 pairs of underwear, 10 pairs of gloves and assorted hats and scarves. This is a direct service project that our makes a real difference for Youth in our community.
Stay tuned for more opportunities to contribute to our community here in North Vancouver.

A message from Paul Butler
To North Van University Women’s Club,
On behalf of Hollyburn Family Services Society, and the Youth Safe House the staff and clients would like to express appreciation for the very generous donations. With your donations, we were able to provide every youth with gifts this year. Many of the clients we serve were so thankful and emotional for what you have all done. Thanks to you, there were smiles on many faces!
One of our youth did not think they would have a Christmas this year but once she received her gifts, she commented, “This has made my Christmas”. One of the other youth at the Safe House commented, “This is the best Christmas I’ve had in a long time”. The youth asked were all the gifts came from, when told, she commented “I didn’t think anyone would care about us”. Attached in this email is some pictures of the staff working hard in Santa’s workshop.
So again, from all of us thank you!
Paul Butler, Director of Youth Services,
