CFUW West Vancouver Interest Groups provide opportunities for members to meet, pursue common interests and build community and fellowship.
Antique Studies
Usually the 2nd Wednesday in the afternoon. Speakers include antique dealers, appraisers, restorers, etc. Members bring items for discussion.
Book Group One
Mornings: 2nd Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Begun in 1986, this group of 15 members reviews four novels and four biographies last year. The June meeting is a pot-luck lunch where next year’s reading list is planned.
“4 Books”
2nd Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Three biographies and four novels were read and discussed last year. At the June meeting, the reading list is compiled for the following year.
Bodacious Bibliophiles with Bonbons
Usually the 2nd Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Books – “Hot off the Press”
Usually the 1st Monday at 7:45 p.m. Eleven books were read and reviewed last year covering a wide range of topics at this evening book group. Most of the 15 members have been part of the group since the early 70′s. They take turns researching the books and leading discussion.

4th Monday, 7:30 p.m. at members’ homes. There are two tables plus a list of spares.
Community Issues Action Group
An evening community outreach interest group. It will focus on issues of concern to women and children, in accordance with CFUW’s goals and purposes and within the framework of CFUW National Policy and BC Council policy. Meeting times arranged by members.
Community Studies Group
A morning interest group that studies issues, mainly those affecting women and children and those relating to North Shore. The group will concentrate on self-education. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month from 10 AM to noon
International Studies Group
CFUW, as a whole, has UN and IFUW links. Members explore international issues affecting women. Meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM.
Lunching Jaunters
Usually the 1st Friday after the General Meeting. Jaunts will be to current exhibits, concerts, and areas of interest. Dates and times will be announced at the general meeting.
Technology/Web Group
Members meet to exchange information about technology. Discussion topics include computers, the Internet, various new digital hardware, and our website. Meetings are at 7:15 PM Tuesday evenings four or five times throughout the year.
Interest and Study Groups are open to all paid up club members.
