Both CFUW NV and CFUW WV recipients again of BC Community Gaming Grants

Both our North Shore CFUW Clubs have recently learned that their applications for funding again for Education Awards have been successful.  This means that each club can again offer awards as we have in the last few years for study at BC post-secondary institutions. The letters of thanks from recipients of these awards indicates the value in terms of monetary assistance as well as encouragement to pursue their future educational plans.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Finance through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch that make this money available for worthwhile projects in BC.

Telling Our Stories

CFUW BC Council invited all BC CFUW Clubs to gather stories from families in their communities about their experiences around finding child care for their young children. The links that follow are the 2 pages in the final report that the Council created.
